Booking Policies

When booking an appointment at Lia Kim Beauty, that time is exclusively set aside for you.

Please read this important information prior to making a booking.


UPFRONT PAYMENT TO SECURE AN APPOINTMENT

An upfront payment of 50% of services booked is required to secure an appointment. This amount will be deducted from your final bill when you attend your appointment.


LATE CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS

Please provide with at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel your appointment. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time will result in a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the services booked. In the event of a late cancellation or no-show, the cancellation fee (your upfront payment) will be automatically forfeited. If your appointment is cancelled with more than 48 hours’ notice, your upfront payment will be allocated to your next appointment date and time.


RESCHEDULING & APPOINTMENT CHANGES

Should you require a rescheduling or a modification of your appointment, please provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice, even for same-day changes. If rescheduling occurs within the 48 hour window of your appointment, a potential cancellation fee may be applied at our discretion. However, when an appointment is rescheduled with more than 48 hours’ notice, your upfront payment will be duly allocated to your newly arranged appointment. Modifications to your appointment can be arranged through the booking confirmation email, provided they are made outside of the 48 hour window.


APPOINTMENT ARRIVAL & LATENESS

Please allow extra time for parking and ensure that you arrive on time for your appointment, no earlier than 5 minutes to avoid waiting times. If you anticipate being late, please let us know as soon as possible. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be automatically cancelled, as there may be another client after you, and you may be charged a cancellation fee. If this occurs, you will be required to make a new appointment.


CONTRAINDICATIONS

Your safety and well-being is prioritised and it is our responsibility to ensure that the treatment you book is suitable and safe for you. A consultation will be conducted during your appointment to prevent any unwanted reactions. Please note that certain contraindications could make some treatments unsuitable for you. This is a necessary precaution to ensure the best outcome of your treatment. Please see our list of contraindications prior to booking an appointment online to ensure a seamless experience.


COLD & FLU SYMPTOMS (Even if it's not COVID-19)

Please refrain from booking an appointment or reschedule your appointment if you have any symptoms of a cold or flu, or COVID-19. Symptoms include coughing, fever, sore throat, and shortness of breath. Thank you for helping to maintain a safe environment for everyone.
